I have been passionate about creating all types of art since I was a child. While I was in high school and college, I originally set out to become an art educator and started my college education at Southern CT State University. However, after having some doubts, I went to the School of Visual Arts in NYC (majoring in illustration) for a little while, but soon discovered I was not a city-girl. I returned to SCSU as an art major and (thanks to my aunt) started working as a paraprofessional in the Fairfield school district. That experience made me drop my major in art, and switch to Special education. I graduated from SCSU with a BS in Special Education. I ended up teaching high school and middle school special education for almost 5 years in Fairfield and then in Trumbull. During this time I always stayed connected to my love for creating art, but it always came second to my career. In 2016, my husband returned from a deployment and we relocated to a town that would be closer to his unit. I left my career to take some time off, get settled and be a mom. During this time 'off' I have rediscovered my love and passion for fine art, focusing on wildlife and pet portraits.

When I'm not drawing and painting, I am either at Crossfit High Order or playing with my GSD, chickens, and daughter. I also love pizza.

Graphic Art was introduced to me as a young child working with my Mother to make birthday banners, invitations, and announcements on our very first computer. Over the years, I explored all forms of art - dancing, singing, theater, and drawing. In college, my print journalism class exposed me to the techniques behind utilizing layout, images, text and fonts to create eye-catching work. In each job I have had, I gravitate toward creating promotional materials and helping people to learn more about whatever it is through printed and digital media. I now have the special opportunity to focus solely on what I enjoy and help our clients celebrate in style, and promote their endeavors.
